We really are spoilt. Our rugged coastline gives you the choice of golden sand, hidden coves and rock pools a plenty for the kids to explore ... as well as many beautiful costal paths throughout.

We all know Newquay being famous for the surfing ... but what's closer to Clowance?

The Tamar Otter Sanctuary is the only place in the West Country breeding the British otter regularly in captivity and re-introducing young otters into the wild wherever suitable habitat remains. This highly successful scheme, carried out by the Otter Trust, is the only one of its kind in Britain, and has been responsible for bringing the otter population of England back to its level of 20-years-ago.

Nearest major road is B3254. The Tamar Otter Sanctuary is situated at North Petherwin, 5 miles north-west of Launceston off the B3254 to Bude.
